In a scathing response to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s claim of deserving a Nobel Prize, BJP’s national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla suggested that Kejriwal should be awarded the Nobel Prize for corruption and evasion of accountability.

“Kejriwal should indeed receive the Nobel Prize, one for engaging in corruption across various sectors, another for evading accountability after indulging in corruption, and a third for prolific lying,” remarked Poonawalla during a press conference on Monday.

He further criticised the governance of the Aam Aadmi Party, highlighting alleged involvement in scams and their failure to establish accountability.

He raised questions about Kejriwal’s actions and the party’s policies, demanding accountability and transparency. He emphasised the need for thorough investigation into alleged irregularities and criticised AAP’s purported failure to cooperate with the authorities.

Poonawalla also targeted Kejriwal for allegedly failing to fulfil poll promises and criticised the administration’s approach to issues ranging from healthcare to education and governance. He accused the AAP of exploiting various avenues for personal gain, citing allegations of scams in sectors such as healthcare, education, public transportation, and now, water and liquor.

He further made allegations regarding the alleged scam amounting to Rs 70,000 crore within the Delhi Jal Board, under Kejriwal’s leadership. It is alleged that contracts were awarded to unqualified contractors in exchange for commissions.
