AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here and enquired about the health of his father Shibu Soren, undergoing treatment at the facility.
“I visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi and met with Jharkhand Chief Minister and friend Hemant Soren ji to enquire about the well-being of his father and former Jharkhand chief minister Shibu Soren. I pray to God that he recovers quickly and returns home soon,” Kejriwal posted on X.
The AAP leader was accompanied by his wife, Sunita Kejriwal during at the hospital. Shibu Soren was admitted to the hospital weeks ago after his health reportedly deteriorated during a routine check-up.
JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya, in a statement had earlier stated that Soren had to be hospitalised due to complications that arose during his medical evaluation.
He said the veteran leader has kidney infection and bronchitis. A team of doctors is overseeing his treatment and his condition is said to be stable, he stated.
