Praveen Khandelwal, the BJP candidate for the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency, has launched his campaign to connect with voters after being nominated by the party leadership.
Khandelwal, known for his role as the founder and general secretary of the Confederation of All India Trades (CAIT) and as a prominent businessman based in Delhi, is set to engage with constituents in the upcoming election.
Meanwhile, sources said his selection had generated excitement among the party supporters in the local community. In Ashok Vihar on Sunday, a large number of supporters warmly welcomed Khandelwal, expressing their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP leadership. Highlighting Khandelwal’s vast experience in various sectors, supporters hailed him as a strong candidate capable of representing their interests effectively.
At the inauguration of the “Run for Modi” programme, Khandelwal emphasised the achievements of the Modi government over the past decade, expressing his confidence in securing a decisive victory in the upcoming elections. He criticised the AAP-Congress alliance, labelling it as “deceitful and detrimental to people of Delhi”.
Khandelwal reiterated the BJP’s commitment to delivering positive change under Modi’s leadership, emphasising the significance of the lotus symbol as a beacon of hope for the electorate. He underscored the collective effort of BJP workers in ensuring the party’s success in Chandni Chowk.
Khandelwal said, “The successful tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of 10 years is our asset, which every BJP worker will propagate. Modi’s leadership guarantees progress and prosperity for all.”
