He said in the last two years, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) conducted over 17,000 permanent recruitments. He claimed that the count exceeds the total appointments made in the previous 10 years. Saxena was appointed the L-G in May 2023.

“Having expedited the recruitment process, DSSSB is expected to fill another 20,000 government vacancies by March next, significantly reducing the huge vacancies in government departments. We are committed to the PM’s emphasis on ending ad hocism in government jobs and creating opportunities for eligible candidates in a free, fair and transparent manner. My best wishes to all new joinees,” he added.
