‘Madari’ exhibition on DU campus

New Delhi: A mix of street plays and artistic presentations were showcased on the second day of the ‘Madari’ art exhibition on Delhi University’s North Campus. Jointly organised by the National Art Stage and the DU Students’ Union, the event was held in the backdrop of Saraswati Puja, which featured contributions from 16 colleges, including Miranda House, Vivekananda College and Aditi Mahavidyalaya. Artists presented a variety of handicrafts, including paintings and decorative items, besides poetic readings.

New short-term courses at Jamia

New Delhi: The Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), on behalf of the academic council, Maljis-i-Talimi, approved the introduction of various short-term courses under the Livelihood Business Incubator at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Courses in graphic designing, mobile repair, AC repair, robotics and automation industrial training, and tailoring training will be offered in offline mode. Courses in UI/UX, audio and video editing, and LinkedIn marketing will be available online, while AI & ML, data science, cyber security and ethical hacking courses will be offered in both online and offline modes. The duration of all these courses is three months, with fees ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 15,000.
