New Delhi: A 53-year-old man was beaten to death in north Delhi’s Timarpur area. The suspect, identified as Raj, hit Ramesh’s head with stones on Thursday morning. An official said the duo had indulged in a fight over consuming alcohol. Raj has been arrested. PTI

1 held for sexually assaulting minor

New Delhi: A man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his 14-year-old neighbour in central Delhi’s Anand Parbat area, the police said on Thursday. The suspect had allegedly sexually assaulted the victim in 2021 and she had reported the matter to her parents now. A case has been registered. PTI

New Delhi: One of the two women who had jumped from the fourth floor of a building to escape from fire in Dwarka is still in the ICU and critical, having suffered multiple fractures, the police said on Thursday. Man stabbed to death in mall

New Delhi: A 23-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death at a restaurant in a mall in Pitampura while he was celebrating his birthday with his friends, the police said on Thursday. The police have detained six people, including the restaurant owner. The deceased has been identified as Jatin of Budh Vihar area. “A quarrel broke out between the restaurant workers and Jatin, who was later stabbed in the chest,” the police said.
