A supervisor of the Punhana Market Committee was crushed to death by a speeding minitruck near Chandanki village of Nuh district. The driver hit the deceased’s motorcycle, dragging him for 50 m. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera.
According to the complaint filed by Jabir, a resident of Nuh, his brother Shamim (45) had been working as a supervisor at the market committee for about 12 years.
“Shamim had gone to Lahabas village on Monday around 4 pm for official work on his motorcycle. When he was returning to the Punhana office, he was hit by a speeding minitruck near Chandanki,” Jabir said.
An FIR was registered against an unknown driver. The accused’s whereabouts are being ascertained.
