A 24-year-old man was arrested in northeast Delhi’s Dayalpur on Thursday evening for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old woman after she refused to continue a relationship with him following her marriage, police said.

According to officials, the accused was once a friend of the woman. However, after her marriage, she distanced herself from him, which the accused reportedly did not accept.

Despite her repeated refusals, the man allegedly continued to pressure her for an extramarital affair. This led to a confrontation near Mangal Bazar Road in New Mustafabad around 7 pm on Thursday.
