Man out to eat momos with wife, shot at

A 22-year-old youth who stepped out to eat momos with his wife was shot at multiple times by unidentified assailants in Geeta Colony, the police said on Tuesday.

The injured, identified as Aditya, sustained two bullet injuries when three assailants opened fire at him before fleeing the scene. He was rushed to hospital where his condition remains stable.

According to police officials, the incident took place on Monday night and information about the shooting was received from the hospital around 10.10 pm, following which teams reached both the crime spot and the hospital for investigation.

A case has been registered at Geeta Colony police station under sections related to attempt to murder.
