Gurugram: Man threatens to kill lover’s husband, booked

High drama prevailed in Basai Enclave after a taxi driver caught his wife with her lover at his house. While protesting, his wife’s lover pointed a pistol at his head and hit him on the head with the pistol’s butt.

When the situation got more violent between the man and his wife’s lover, both the woman and her lover fled the spot. People living nearby said before leaving, the accused also threatened to make the situation like that of the Meerut murder case. An FIR was registered against the woman and her lover.

In his complaint, taxi driver Mausam, “After my night duty on Sunday, when I reached home at 6 am on Monday, my wife was not in the room. When I went to the terrace, I saw her with Naveen. When I interrupted them, Naveen took out a pistol and pointed it at my head. He hit me on the head with the butt of pistol. However, they fled away after people started gathering there,” he said.
