According to an official notification issued on Friday by the civic body, the election will be conducted as part of the regular agenda of the general house meeting, which will take place at the MCD headquarters.

In addition to the Standing Committee election, the MCD will also convene three previously deferred meetings on the same day. These meetings —originally scheduled in January 2024, April 2025, and May 2025 — will now be held sequentially at 4 pm, 4:10 pm and 4:20 pm, respectively.
