Meme-fest begins as Delhi earthquake shakes Twitter up
The nation’s capital and nearby regions woke up to strong tremors as an earthquake of 4.0 magnitude hit the city early on Monday morning.
The Jheel Park area of Dhaula Kuan was primarily affected and several residents of high-rise buildings had to storm out of their houses and head downstairs to escape the tremors.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi are among those who have posted on X urging people to stay cautious and alert.
Naturally, the incident has led to quite a meme-fest on social media with Delhiites sharing numerous amusing takes on the quake.
For instance, a user compared herself to sprinter Usain Bolt when talking about the speed at which she ran out of her apartment.
