On the occasion, he honoured meritorious girl students for excelling in academics, sports, and other extracurricular activities. Highlighting women’s growing role in shaping India’s future, Singh praised the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative, and said the country’s daughters were enhancing India’s pride — from defending its borders to exploring outer space.

Earlier, the minister hoisted the national flag at his Rohini residence.
