Minister inspects garbage hotspots in Hari Nagar

Delhi Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood on Wednesday inspected multiple Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs) in ward number . 99 under the Hari Nagar assembly constituency.

The inspection covered the Fixed Compactor Transfer Station (FCTS) point near the vegetable market, Nangal Raya, Mangal Pandey Marg, near Maya Enclave, Peeli Kothi and the JJ Cluster. Sood directed the officials concerned to install compact transfer stations where ever necessary.

At the FCTS point, Sood said a damaged electrical substation near the garbage zone posed safety risks. He instructed BSES and MC officials to repair the substation, level surrounding pits and construct a boundary wall to prevent waste from spilling over.
