Gurugram: Some car occupants miscreants opened fire on a chaff businessman and his nephew on Tuesday evening near Indri turn, Sohna. More than a dozen rounds of bullets were fired in which the victims were injured. The attackers fled the spot in their car. Both injured were admitted to hospital. The incident has been captured on CCTV camera. According to the police, injured Ilyas and his nephew Iqlas, residents of Kankar Khedi village in Nuh, have a business of chaff. X-ray facility at Civil Hospital
Gurugram: Patients will now get the facility of X-ray regularly in the Civil Hospital at Farrukhnagar town in Gurugram district. Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Virendra Yadav inaugurated the X-ray department installed with a new machine on the hospital premises.Dr Yadav said that patients coming to Farrukhnagar would no longer have to go out for conducting X-ray tests. This service was started in the Civil Hospital from Tuesday. He claimed that the Health Department was trying to provide better medical facilities to the people of the district. For this, new buildings of government hospitals were being constructed and modern medical services being provided to residents. TNS
Man gets 20-year jail for rape
Gurugram: The POCSO court of Narendra Pal, Additional Sessions Judge, Nuh, sentenced a man to 20 years’ of jail for raping a minor in 2021. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on the accused. In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to face additional punishment of six months. The man was booked and arrested in 2021 for raping his minor daughter after threatening to kill her.
