Raising the slogan “Wahe Guru Ji da Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh,” Chief Minister Rekha Gupta flagged off the rally from Talkatora Stadium here, describing the event as a “historic”.

Addressing the crowd, she said: “This yatra is not just a rally, it is the voice of a nation that refuses to tolerate terrorism. We will no longer accept the loss of even a single innocent life. The entire nation stands united behind our armed forces and our Prime Minister.”

The rally, part of a larger nationwide campaign, was marked by massive participation from Sikh youth organisations. Participants rode motorcycles through Delhi’s major roads, waving the tricolour and raising slogans of unity and resilience.

Education Minister Ashish Sood also joined the march, praising the courage of Indian armed forces and the enthusiasm of the youth.

Sirsa, visibly emotional while recalling the recent terror attack at a gurdwara in Rajouri, said: “The Modi Government has taught a strong lesson to those who kill innocents by striking them within their own territory. We salute brave soldiers who went deep into enemy land and eliminated the threat.”

As the rally concluded at India Gate, participants paid tribute to the martyrs with patriotic songs and a solemn homage at the War Memorial. The event turned into a powerful show of solidarity, with the Sikh community sending a clear message of support for Indian armed forces and the government’s tough stance against terrorism.

Minister Ashish Sood said: “The courage of our armed forces fills the nation with pride. I thank every young person who participated today and showed that the spirit of India is alive and strong.”
