The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) commenced its Vigilance Awareness Week on Monday, with Secretary Krishna Mohan Uppu administering integrity pledge to heads of departments, senior officers, and staff at the NDMC Headquarters in Palika Kendra. This initiative aims to combat corruption and promote transparency in public service.

The Vigilance Awareness Week is held from October 28 to November 3. Uppu stated during the ceremony. He emphasised the role of public servants in fostering a culture of integrity within the community.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
