Among the highlights was the announcement of a ‘Seva Parv’ to mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The celebrations, to be held from September 17 to October 2, will include programmes dedicated to public service and social outreach.

The council also considered a proposal to set up a 'Night Food Bazaar' at Connaught Place and India Gate. Under the plan, 50–60 food trucks will operate daily from 10.30 pm to 1 am. Inspired by popular night markets in Indore and Ahmedabad, the initiative is aimed at boosting the night-time economy and providing residents and visitors with diverse food options.

In the education sector, the NDMC approved redevelopment of Navyug School, Pandara Park, with additional classrooms and a multipurpose hall at a cost of Rs 11.29 crore. The council also sanctioned the installation of 346 smart classrooms across all NDMC and Navyug primary schools at an estimated Rs 7.83 crore. Sports coaching in schools and sports grounds will also be reintroduced under the Public-Private Partnership model.
