New Delhi: 6+ kids to get admission in Class I

New Delhi: The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, has issued a letter dated February 15, urging all the states and union territories to ensure that the age for admission to Class I is set at above six years, starting with the academic session 2024-25. The directive aligns with the National Education Policy-2020 and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2009.

Alternative ending writing contest

The English Department Association of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College has invited submissions for their upcoming event. The theme for the competition is ‘Madwoman in the attic’. It is part of the college’s Annual Literature Festival, SONNET’24. Inviting writers to dive into the realm of literary twists, they are encouraged to unleash their creativity and rewrite narratives with alternative endings. Entries can be submitted by the end of the day, February 26.

ChemCrown’24 on Feb 28-29

The Chemistry Society of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, University of Delhi, is gearing up to host ChemCrown’24, their Annual Chemistry Festival, on February 28-29. The event will feature quiz contest that would further determine qualification for the Chemistry Premier League. E-certificates will be provided to all the participants.
