New Delhi: Convocation ceremony held
The third convocation ceremony of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital was held at Civic Centre on Wednesday. The event, celebrating the 2016 and 2017 batches of medical graduates, was attended by Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, VK Saxena, and Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi. Saxena highlighted the government’s focus on healthcare, mentioning key initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Delhi Mayor Oberoi congratulated the new doctors, stressing the responsibility that comes with their profession. Commissioner of MCD, Ashwini Kumar, also extended his congratulations to the graduates and faculty.
Fifth Nadi Utsav from Sept 19
New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) will celebrate the fifth edition of Nadi Utsav from September 19-21, continuing its tradition of raising awareness about the cultural and ecological significance of rivers. The event will take place at IGNCA, New Delhi, and will feature a wide range of activities, including film screenings, seminars, exhibitions, and cultural performances.
