New Delhi: The Annual Sports Meet (2024) for 43 NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) schools concluded at Talkatora Cricket Ground on Tuesday. NDMC Chairman Amit Yadav awarded the winners. As many as 2,500 students took part in various competition. Yadav stressed the importance of sports in the holistic development of students and praised the Atal Adarsh Vidhyalaya and Navyug Schools for their efforts.

Gender forum’s 25th anniversary

‘Parivartan’, the gender forum of Kirori Mal College, commemorated its 25th anniversary. It is one of the oldest gender forums in a co-educational college within DU. A panel discussion on ‘Gender, Law and Society’ featured prominent figures like Latika Vashisht and Dhiren Borisa.

Entries sought for film contest

Invictus, the film and photography society of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC), is set to organise its annual film-making competition, Hitchcock. Participants can submit original short films spanning five to 10 minutes till February 27. Teams of up to four members (excluding actors) can participate in the contest.

Jamia releases admission notice

The Office of the Controller of Examinations at Jamia Millia Islamia has released the admission notice for the academic session 2024-25. The prospectus for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes is now available on the Controller of Examinations’ website. Online application forms will be accessible from Tuesday and no offline forms will be considered. The admission fee ranges from Rs 550 to Rs 700.
