The signing was attended by Delhi Transport Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, along with senior officials from both departments. The project, estimated at Rs 207 crore and covering 26,015.78 square metres, aims to replace the existing DTC office, which has been assessed as structurally inadequate.

The new 12-floor headquarters will include operational office space, commercial areas and green zones covering 20 per cent of the total site. Parking facilities will accommodate around 200 buses and more than 200 cars. Dr Singh said the modern headquarters was essential to support Delhi’s expanding transport network. We have signed the MoU with DSIIDC. Fifty per cent of commercial rights will remain with the DSIIDC for 30 years. The project is expected to be completed within two and a half years, he said.
