NH-48 to be shut for 6 hours from March 26
Due to the ongoing construction of a foot overbridge, the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway (NH-48) near Narsinghpur will be closed from Wednesday night till Thursday morning for six hours. The Gurugram traffic police has issued an advisory, along with the route diversions, in this regard.
According to the advisory, the construction work of the foot overbridge on NH-48 will be carried out by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) on Wednesday at night from 12:01am to 6 am (Thursday). Keeping in view the security situation, the movement of vehicles on the Narsinghpur NH-48 road will be prohibited during the construction of this foot overbridge. The route for vehicles will be diverted.
As per the advisory, the traffic going from Delhi to Jaipur will turn left from Hero Honda Chowk, turn right from Subhash Chowk red light, go right from Vatika Chowk red light and go straight ahead and use the NH-48 road from SPR-Dwarka Road.
“Drivers going from Jaipur to Delhi will cross the Khairki Daula toll and use Dwarka Expressway from the NH-48 road. Drivers coming from Jaipur will cross the Kherki Daula toll plaza, use Dwarka Expressway from NH-48, take a U-turn from Elan Chowk, use SPR road, turn left from Vatika Chowk red light and go via Rajiv Chowk,” read the advisory.
