There was no alteration in the budgetary allocation for the Union Territory of Delhi in the Interim Budget for 2024-25, as presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today. The allocation remained consistent at Rs 1,168 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, mirroring the same amount allocated in 2023-24.

Out of this allocation, the central assistance to the union territories share is Rs 951 crore, and there is an additional central assistance of Rs 200 crore designated for the Chandrawal water treatment plant.
