The organisation alleged it has received multiple complaints from students claiming their personal information is being exploited by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).

“This is not just a breach of privacy — it is a direct attack on the rights and safety of students, especially women students, whose personal information is being misused without consent,” said NSUI national president Varun Choudhary.

The student body has written to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan demanding an immediate and impartial investigation into the alleged data breach, accountability of officials involved, and strict safeguards to prevent misuse of university and government databases.
