National Students Union of India (NSUI) national president Varun Choudhary has appealed to Union Health Minister JP Nadda to intervene in the ongoing controversy surrounding the NEET-PG 2024 examination, after exam centres were unexpectedly changed just four days before the scheduled test date.

The exam, slated for August 11, 2024, has faced multiple setbacks. Now, many candidates are grappling with last-minute changes to their test centres. Choudhary urged the Health Minister to take immediate action by reopening the exam centre selection portal, allowing students to choose between their originally allocated centre and the newly assigned one. Choudhary highlighted the distress caused to students due to the sudden changes. — TNS
