With the Delhi University Students’ Union elections approaching, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) today staged a massive Save DU March at the Arts Faculty, Delhi University (DU). Led by NSUI national president Varun Choudhary, the march drew thousands of students who joined in raising the slogan “Hum Badlenge DU.”
Addressing to the gathering, Varun Choudhary said, “Delhi University deserves dignity, equality, and opportunities for every student. NSUI stands strong for menstrual leave, safe campuses, affordable hostels and fair scholarships. We will continue to fight until DU becomes a space of respect and justice, where no student is left behind.”
“Today’s march has proved that students stand united for their rights. NSUI has always been the voice of students, and we will continue our struggle for issues like menstrual leave, hostels, and a safe campus for all,” said Rahul Jhansla, NSUI candidate, adding to the charged atmosphere of the rally.
The march turned into a powerful display of student unity, with participants highlighting their trust in NSUI’s vision for a fairer and more inclusive campus.
