New Delhi: The Department of Computer Science at Shivaji College had launched an online add-on course on “Excel and Python for data analysis and visualisation”. Scheduled from March to April, the 30-hour course would equip participants with essential skills in data analytics and visualisation. With classes in hybrid mode, students can access quality education conveniently, the college said. There’s no registration fee, making the course accessible to all. Commencing on March 9, the course aims to empower learners with practical knowledge in Excel and Python, essential for navigating today’s data-driven world, it added. Successful completion of the course will ensure that participants receive certificates.

NSS to hold cultural fest

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women’s National Service Scheme (NSS) is set to host “Guess N’ Act” under Karvaan’24, their annual cultural fest. Scheduled for March 6, participants will engage in two rounds of guessing and improvisational acting. Registration for the contest is open to all, with solo or duo participation allowed. Non-SRCASW students need an authority letter to participate. Winners stand to win cash prizes and hampers. Registration to participate in the competition will remain open until March 5, the college said.

College to host hackathon

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women is set to host Tech-a-thon 3.0, a coding hackathon under their annual fest, UDAAN’24. With themes including Web3, AI/ML, EdTech, Health Tech and Open Innovation, participants of all levels are encouraged to join the fest. Registration for participation had been opened on February 26, with mentoring rounds on March 3 and 4. The hackathon will be held from March 1 to 5, with shortlisted teams announced on the March 5 and final results on March 7.
