“I was a bit nervous at first, but once I started interacting with the recruiters, I felt relaxed. I’ve given my first interview today and it’s been a great learning experience,” Payal Kumari, a final-year BCom student, said.

Prominent recruiters included Muthoot Finance, AXIS IIT/NEET, Bajaj Capital, PCI India, Stubborn Factory and Bajaj Allianz, among others. The fair offered a mix of opportunities, 20 companies offering full-time placements, 10 providing internships, and several offering both.

By 4 pm, the University’s Central Placement Cell reported that over 1,200 students had already been shortlisted by various organisations, reflecting the enthusiasm and readiness of Delhi University’s talent pool.

“It’s such a good opportunity, so many companies are here under one roof. Even if I don’t get selected, I’m glad I got to understand how interviews actually work,” Rohit Singh, a postgraduate student, said.

With buzzing interactions, interviews and on-the-spot selections, the Job Mela turned into a vibrant hub of ambition, offering students a valuable platform to take their first steps towards promising careers.
