PM Modi to address rally in Rohini today
Ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a rally in Rohini on Sunday, marking a significant push to the BJP’s election campaign. This rally comes just a day after the party announced its first list of candidates for the elections.
The rally, part of the BJP’s ‘Parivartan Rally’ initiative, will be held at the Japanese Park in Northwest Delhi at 1 PM. Following the ride on the Namo Bharat train and laying the foundation stone and inaugurating development projects, Prime Minister will address the rally.
During the event, the PM will lay the foundation stone for a major metro project aimed at connecting Rithala to rural areas. This move is seen as a strategic effort by the BJP to strengthen its support base in rural areas, where the AAP has traditionally performed well in the past elections.
The rally will also feature the Prime Minister’s address, which is expected to highlight key development initiatives undertaken by the BJP in Delhi and the broader national context.
Rohini is a crucial constituency for the BJP, currently represented by Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, who has been re-nominated to contest the seat in the upcoming elections.
