PM Modi writes to party candidates

Highlights party’s focus on improving quality of life for Delhiites

Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote personal letters to several BJP candidates, urging Delhi residents to vote for the party to ensure the city’s continued progress.

The letters, addressed to key candidates such as Kapil Mishra (Karawal Nagar) and Vijender Gupta (Rohini), highlight the BJP’s commitment to improving the quality of life, enhancing ease of living and building a ‘double-engine’ government for the capital’s growth.

In his letter to Karawal Nagar candidate Kapil Mishra, PM Modi emphasised India’s vision of becoming a developed nation, with Delhi playing a crucial role in this mission.

“Our country is moving forward with the resolve of a developed India. Delhi will play a significant role in fulfilling this vision. Every vote cast for the BJP will strengthen the resolve for a developed India and create a double-engine government in Delhi,” Modi wrote.

The Prime Minister also highlighted BJP’s focus on improving the quality of life for Delhiites, stressing the importance of the party’s governance for easier living, travel and business.

“For ease of living, ease of travel, quality of life and ease of doing business, having a BJP government in Delhi is essential,” Modi noted.

PM Modi outlined key issues that the BJP is committed to addressing such as providing permanent housing for the poor, resolving water and sewage problems in colonies and working with integrity for the service of Delhi’s residents.

“We are committed to the service of Delhi with good intentions. We want to resolve issues such as delays in providing permanent homes to the poor and address the problems of water and sewage in Delhi’s colonies,” the letter read.

In a similar letter to Vijender Gupta, BJP’s candidate for Rohini, the Prime Minister praised him for his deep understanding of common man’s problems, saying, “Vijender Gupta comes from a common background and understands the issues faced by ordinary people in depth.”
