Police podcast completes 200 episodes

The Delhi Police’s weekly podcast, “Kissa Khaki Ka”, has completed 200 episodes, marking a milestone for the force’s digital outreach and community engagement efforts, officials said. They said the achievement comes under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Satish Golchha.

The podcast, launched in January 2022, narrates real-life stories of courage, grit and humane policing by Delhi Police personnel. It is aimed at acknowledging the dedication of police officers and inspiring others through accounts of their investigative work, bravery and service.

According to police officials, renowned media educator and prison reformer Vartika Nanda, who lends her voice to the podcast, has contributed key insights and inputs to its storytelling approach. The series is produced by the Delhi Police social media team and has emerged as one of the force’s most impactful public communication initiatives.

Episodes of “Kissa Khaki Ka”, released every Sunday at 2 pm across Delhi Police’s social media handles, run between five to ten minutes, and present short and engaging narratives that highlight lesser-known acts of police heroism.
