The Speaker also toured a special exhibition at the gurdwara showcasing rare photographs, manuscripts and depictions from Guru Nanak Dev’s life, including his spiritual journeys and teachings on equality, compassion and honest living.

Gupta said the Guru’s principles of Naam Japna, Kirat Karni and Vand Chakna remain timeless lessons for all generations.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who is currently in Bihar for election campaigning, began her day by offering prayers at Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib. She prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of both Bihar and the nation.

In the Capital, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva’s family continued its long-standing tradition of seva (service) by preparing and distributing langar (community meal) during the Nagar Kirtan in Mayur Vihar. For several years, Sachdeva’s family and friends have participated in the celebration by serving langar to devotees on every Gurpurb. The day was marked by devotion and community spirit across Delhi.
