- Amrit Udyan, the renowned garden within the Rashtrapati Bhavan, will be opened by President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday.
- The garden will open to the public from Friday. It will be accessible from 10 am to 6 pm till September 15. Notable features of the garden include a stone abacus, sound pipe and music wall, designed to engage children interactively.
- Navika Gupta, Deputy Press Secretary to the President, said, “Seed papers infused with Tulsi seeds will be given to visitors as eco-friendly mementos. This initiative allows individuals to cultivate green spaces.”
- The Amrit Udyan has been designed as a sensory garden for visually impaired visitors, featuring fragrances, wind chimes and a water fountain. TNS
