The breakthrough came after the police received a tip-off about a liquor supply operation in the area. Following local inquiries and confirmation of the information, officers set up a trap near G Block in the forested area of Sangam Vihar.

At around 9.20 am, the police spotted three individuals unloading cartons from a scooter without a number plate. While two of the suspects managed to escape, the police arrested Ravi Singh and seized three cartons of liquor from the scooter. An additional 57 cartons were found nearby in the adjacent forest area. A case has been registered under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 at the Tigri police station.
