From a walkathon titled “Justice for All” on a Sunday morning to vibing to singer Akon’s tunes and a pack of jokes at Comedian Samay Raina’s show, Delhiites witnessed three events leading to traffic congestion in parts of the city.

Notably, Delhi Traffic Police had issued traffic advisory prior to the events to manage congestion on a holiday.

The walkathon for lawyers was flagged off by Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and SCBA Chief Vikas Singh from the Supreme Court premises to India Gate.

The walkathon themed “Justice for All” was organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

At dawn, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was packed with the youth to mark the start of American singer Akon’s tour of India.

The high-voltage concert was organised by Sara Awwad, founder of Studio Majime, in partnership with White Fox. He will next perform in Bengaluru on November 14 and in Mumbai on November 16.

The singer rose to fame after his debut album Trouble in 2004 with subsequent hits such as “Locked Up” and “Smack That”.
