Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, has been appointed as the chairperson of the AAP Parliamentary Party, a significant responsibility within the party’s legislative leadership.
In his new role, MP Sanjay Singh will lead the AAP’s parliamentary activities in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. This marks his second consecutive term as the leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha. Reflecting on his new responsibility, he expressed gratitude to AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for entrusting him with this crucial role.
“Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has always given me the opportunity to raise my voice from the streets to the Parliament,” MP Sanjay Singh remarked.
The AAP officially notified the Speakers of both Houses of Parliament regarding MP Sanjay Singh’s appointment through a formal letter.
