SAU all set to introduce new computer science courses
New Delhi, February 22
The South Asian University (SAU) will introduce new programmes in the Department of Computer Science. The institute will provide new courses under the department, namely Bachelors and Masters in Technology, MTech Dual Degree (BTech and MTech), and integrated Masters in Science and MTech from the new academic session.
The admission process has begun for all programmes and the last date to apply is March 31. The SAU plans to introduce more programmes in the future.
The admission brochure for the 2024-25 session was released by the president of the university, Prof KK Aggarwal, at a function organised at Foreign Correspondents’ Club in Delhi on Thursday.
SAU is offering programmes in economics, biotechnology, computer science, international relations, legal studies, mathematics and sociology. A compulsory computer-based multiple choice questions entrance test will be conducted for these programmes on April 20 and 21 across South Asia at designated centres. The university will also be offering scholarships and financial assistance to a certain number of students on merit and merit-cum-means basis.
