According to the police, Rinku and Rajiv worked with the American Express company on Sohna Road. On Monday night at around 10.30 pm, they were returning to their room after work when a speeding vehicle ran over them. Rinku died on spot while Rajiv sustained serious injured; the driver fled from the spot.

After getting information, a police team reached the spot and took both of them to hospital where doctors declared Rinku dead while Rajiv was still being treated. On Tuesday, the police handed over the body to the kin after the postmortem.

“We are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the vehicle and the driver. The driver will be arrested soon,” a senior police official said.
