Civic conditions at many colonies in the Greater Faridabad area have turned worse due to damaged or blocked sewer lines. Indira Complex is one such locality where residents have been left with no option than to wade through lanes filled with sewage water. Although the residents have raised the issue with civic body officials, they have failed to address the problem for several weeks. The authorities should take stock of the sewer lines laid in densely populated colonies. Paras Bhardwaj, Faridabad

Power cuts disrupt life in Preet Vihar

Persistent power outages in Preet Vihar are significantly disrupting the life of local residents. The lack of response from customer care services during emergencies aggravates the problem. We are often forced to cook under the mobile phone flashlight, which may lead to untoward incidents. The power outages have also begun to impact work schedules and employees’ productivity. Aakash Arora, Preet Vihar
