Sirsa praises PM for garnering Sikh support globally
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, newly elected MLA from Rajouri Garden, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for garnering the wholehearted support of the global Sikh community. Sirsa pointed to a heartfelt gesture of gratitude from a Sikh man in Paris as an example of the respect Modi has garnered from Sikhs worldwide.
In a post on ‘X,’ Sirsa said Sikhs around the globe are appreciative of Modi’s efforts to acknowledge and respect their faith. He wrote, “The way a Sikh in Paris thanked PM Narendra Modi, it is clear that Sikhs across the world love him and thank him wholeheartedly for giving so much respect to the faith and sentiments of the Sikh community. In gratitude for this sensitivity and respect, the Sikh community of Delhi also gave its full support to PM Modi.”
Sirsa was referring to a video in which an elderly Sikh man in Paris expressed his appreciation for the PM saying: “We are extremely happy that you are celebrating the birth anniversary of the Sikh Guru and Sahibzaade. You are the only PM who thinks about the people of all religions.”
