Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia today urged the Supreme Court to hear his two curative petitions against its 2023 verdict refusing to grant him bail in corruption and money laundering cases related to the Delhi excise policy scam.

Senior counsel Abhishek Singhvi told a Bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud on behalf of Sisodia that he had been languishing in jail for a year and that his curative petitions should be listed for hearing. “I have already instructed for listing of the petitions,” the CJI told Singhvi.
