The Speaker of the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, is scheduled to meet Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Monday to formally express the Assembly’s gratitude for his address delivered on February 25.

A motion has already been passed in the Assembly to convey appreciation for the L-G’s speech, which outlined the vision and governance roadmap for the Capital. In accordance with Rule 19 (7), Speaker Gupta will personally hand over the formal communication to the Lieutenant Governor, acknowledging the importance of the address.
