When the police reached the hospital, they came to know that the duo had succumbed to their injuries, Vichitra Veer said.

The DCP said as per inquiry, they both were friends and had known each other for years. An argument broke out between them over some petty issue while they were sitting in the park.

The argument escalated into a scuffle, with both of them stabbing each other. Residents shifted them to a hospital, the DCP said.
