Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar interacted with students of Nalanda University at Parliament House on Wednesday, encouraging them to embrace the role of trustees for peace, progress and sustainable development.
Dhankhar emphasised the timeless contributions of Indian civilisational ethos during the session. It provided a platform for insightful discussions on fostering a harmonious society and leveraging India’s rich cultural heritage for collective growth.
The delegation comprised students from 11 countries, — Bhutan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Nepal, Argentina, Kenya, Thailand and Uganda.
Reflecting on his visit to Nalanda University on September 29 2023, during his maiden visit to Bihar, Dhankhar recalled the institution’s illustrious history and urged students to carry forward its legacy to greater heights. The session at the Parliament House served as a platform for dynamic exchanges shared insights and perspectives on global challenges and opportunities.
