The multi-vehicle collision occurred as drivers were unable to see clearly due to thick smog, leading to a chain-reaction crash involving cars and heavy vehicles. Several others were injured, though authorities have not yet confirmed the exact number.

Emergency response teams, including police, fire services, and ambulances, were rushed to the scene to rescue trapped passengers and provide medical aid. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
