A website for Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi Research Award was inaugurated on Thursday by Hindi litterateur and Acharya Hazariprasad Dwivedi’s disciple, Dr Vishwanath Tripathi.
Dwivedi was a Hindi litterateur and a winner of Sahitya Akademi Award.
Tripathi said Dwivedi’s writings exemplified how ancient Indian traditions intertwined with modernity. He elaborated on the significance and relevance of traditions in Acharya Dwivedi’s essays and literature.
At the event, renowned poet and Padma Shri recipient Surendra Sharma announced an annual contribution of Rs 51,000 towards the research award.
