What our readers say: Construct 10 new cow shelters
AS the problem of stray cattle on city roads has become serious, the district administration and civic authorities need to act promptly on the project to establish at least 10 new cow shelters, with the capacity to accommodate 10,000 animals at once, in the vacant land of the Aravalli belt. The construction will only require the installation of prefabricated concrete walls and sheds, which will be cost-effective and environmental friendly. Providing assistance to people for reporting or helping in the relocation of stray cattle to these shelters will contribute to solving the problem on a permanent basis.
