THE Sector 14 residents are disturbed to find five mature trees felled in their park. Despite lodging complaints with both the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) and the Forest Department, no officials have visited the site to investigate the matter. The MCG has been investing lakhs to develop and maintain parks in the area, making the illegal tree felling all the more concerning. Furthermore, logs from the cut trees have been removed from the park, raising suspicions that these might have been sold in the market.
