What our readers say: Threat of accidents looms as cattle menace on the rise
WITH the presence of hordes of stray cattle on the city’s main and dividing roads, drivers are faced with a kind of skill test every time they come out on the roads with a vehicle. While drivers who are able to manoeuvre their vehicles in a slow and controlled manner are able to pass the hurdle created by the animals, those who try to pass the passage without precision may meet with an accident. The civic authorities should remove such bottlenecks for the larger interest of the commuters.

Fine underage drivers
SCHOOLCHILDREN are often seen driving two-wheelers without proper documentation or safety precautions. Some even engage in triple riding, which is extremely risky. The police should issue fines to such underage drivers, and parents should not allow their children to drive before they turn 18. The authorities concerned should ensure driving licences are obtained in a rightful manner by adhering to proper rules and regulations.

Is a civic issue bothering you? Are you agitated over the lack of concern? Is there something heartening that you feel needs to be highlighted? Or a picture which in your opinion ought to be seen by many, and not just you?
